Nobody knows my mama.
I was getting Ben some breakfast a week or so ago, and for some reason started singing Nobody knows the trouble I've seen...
Ben picked up on this and started singing it as well with his own lyrics, like "No, I'm not sorry" in the lowest voice he is capable of singing with. This was funny enough that we continued to sing it throughout the day and following week, and in the end, have a new version of the song:
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen.
Nobody knows my mama.
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen.
No... I'm not sorry.
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen.
Nobody knows my daddy.
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen.
Nobody knows Christina.
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen.
No... I'm not sorry.
The "No... I'm not sorry." lyric really doesn't have anything to do with the other lyrics, rather this is Ben's little rebellious side saying he's not sorry in general. Such a weasel. For those of you who don't know her, Christina is a good friend of ours. She was over the day that this particular lyric was added.
